MS/PhD openings in Computer Engineering at UCF (Fall 2014)
Graduate research assistant (RA) positions are currently available in the Hardware Security Lab starting in Fall 2014. Full financial support is granted to accepted PhD students while partial financial support will be provided to accepted MS students. Recruited students are expected to work in the areas of trusted circuit designs and hardware/firmware Trojan detection/prevention in IP cores and/or manufactured devices.
Candidates are expected to have solid background in one of the following areas:
1) VLSI design and fabrication;
2) Hardware security and trustworthiness;
3) Cryptographic embedded system, design and implementation.
Optional skills: functional programming in Coq platform; C/C++ programming; Python programming.
Preference will be given to creative and self-motivated candidates. Students majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related areas are welcome to apply.
