Prof. Jin Ye is looking for highly-motivated Ph.D. students and postdocs who have expertise in one of the following areas: power electronics, electric machines, smart grid security, control, and data analytics. The preferred start date is July 2021. Qualified candidates will receive a competitive salary and work on cutting-edge projects sponsored by the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and National Science Foundation.

Prof. Jin Ye is currently an assistant professor of electrical engineering and the director of the intelligent power electronics and electric machines (IPEM) laboratory at the University of Georgia. She is a general chair of the 2019 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo (ITEC), a publication chair, and women in engineering chair of the 2019 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Expo (ECCE). She is an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. Her main research areas include power electronics, electric machines, energy management systems, and cyber-physical security and resilience with applications to smart grids and electrified transportation.
