Rivian Software Engineering Offer positive experience so far

When I received the verbal offer from Rivian, recruiter said that there is a possibility of IPO but not sure when .The Recruiter is good and co-operative, I also found the Manager helpful,I tried to ask for Sign-on and but was told the company doesn't have any policy for that. They are open for negotiations upto certain limits based on the interview performance.
The Experience was good. My only concern is that the tech stack is slightly into DevOps side, and I was excited about the pure software Engineering role. But they didnt clarify that in the beginning during the interview process.
By the way, Please Please add some rice!!!
