Two Ph.D. (Fall 21/Spring 22) and multiple internship openings in Dr. Peng Gao’s group at Virginia Tech CS!

Dr. Peng Gao will be joining the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech as an Assistant Professor starting Fall 2021. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Science at UC Berkeley from 2019 to 2021. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2019 and B.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2013. His research interest lies in security and privacy issues in systems and networks. His work centers on creating secure and trustworthy systems to solve real-world problems, with publications at multiple premier academic venues (e.g., USENIX Security, USENIX ATC, ACM CCS, ICDE, ICSE) and industry deployments. He is the recipient of multiple honors and awards.
