One postdoc position and multiple fully-funded PhD positions at UCF

Dr. Fan Yao is the Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of Central Florida (ucf.edu). His research interests are in the areas of Computer Architecture, System Security,  Machine Learning/AI Security, Energy-efficient Computing, Accelerators and Heterogeneous computing. His research group currently has multiple PhD positions available starting from 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring semesters. In addition, his group also has one open postdoc position in the direction of secure architectures and/or secure machine learning.

Prospective students
Research areas include but not limited to: Machine learning, Hardware/System Security, Computer Architecture, Energy-efficient computing.
For PhDs: Interested students with solid backgrounds in computer systems, proficient programming skills (e.g., C/C++, python) are encouraged to contact him via email: fan.yao@ucf.edu. For Postdocs: Post-doc candidates are expected to have PHD degree in the area of computer engineering, computer science or related field. PhD graduates who have a good track record of publishing papers in the computer architecture and/or system security communities are preferred. Interested candidates already in the US are especially encouraged to apply.
