求问如何negotiate offer，这样可以吗

刚拿到一个package，稍微比预期低了一些。之前也有跟HR谈过预期，求问大家一般都怎么写counter offer的邮件呢。这样可以吗？要不要再写一段，突出自己的experience和value。

I am excited about the job and I believe I will make a meaningful contribution to the team.

As for the compensation, although xyz is my first choice, the current base salary is lower than my expectation and what other companies have offered (~$xxx annually). I understand you must maintain the salary range structure from a company point of view. So, can we amend the offer by increasing the base salary and/or adding on the stock equity from the parent company to get me closer to the market value? If this is agreeable, I would be eager to accept this role.
