请问UW-Seattle的MS Statistics毕业后好就业么？

原谅楼主跑到这个版上来发这个帖，尽管LZ还在申请季，还在等其他的ad
LZ知道这个版有很多在美国已经找到工作或正在找工作的牛牛，相比申请版的朋友更有经验一些。LZ目前在国内读应用数学，信息来源非常少，因此索性当一次伸手党吧。。。
据我所知，UW的统计非常不错，USnews上排前五，但业界口碑就不知道了。
我还知道UW是CS牛校，西雅图找码农工作也非常不错，但关键是，我这个项目是统计，情况就未知了。
因此请教这个项目毕业后能在美国找到5w/y以上的工作吗？（无论类别）

恩。主要是让大家大概知道这个项目的方向

我给我们统计的老师看了下课程，他说还是比较应用的。但跟别的MS program比起来理论课还蛮多，要是想继续PhD多选点理论课。
不知道可不可以选cs的课

以前502是PhD和Master一起上的，是advanced topic很好的入门课，会讲各种高端topic，包括经典的supervised learning （classification），clustering，Bayes Inference等等等等，final project相当应用， 是很好的探索型和实践型课程。不知道现在program改革后是不是还是大家一起上。

补充楼上。。现在理论上还是所有人一起上，只不过phd可以选择不上50X和51X的课，然后就越来越少人选502-504了。。sigh

而且上课内容其实很取决于哪个老师教。。。

另外不要被这么多课看起来好像面很广。。两年除了必修以外还有时间选的也就几门而已。。所有从一开始就做好course planning还是很重要的。。

这个问题我也很感兴趣，同问，而且，能转专业吗，文科能不能转cs
