Dr. Hang Liu’s group (http://personal.stevens.edu/~hliu77/) from Stevens Institute of Technology has multiple Ph.D. position openings now. The research interests of his group include building/leveraging new hardware for machine learning and graph computing (i.e., data science in general), high-performance distributed computing and big data. Dr. Liu's group has published an array of papers in top CS/CE conferences, such as SC, HPDC, SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, USENIX ATC, USENIX FAST, IJCAI, EMNLP, and DAC. With tireless devotion to student education, Dr. Liu has developed abundant practical experience about how to cultivate students.
