是啊，他们认为的没收到，可能是到了St. Louis还没到DC office，也可能是到了DC但没录入。都说不准啊

是的吧，所以j1 waiver才这么混乱，感觉都是在给美国创造就业

楼主你发邮件给DOS的时候，是怎么写的内容和主题呢？只用给case number吗？我这儿情况也差不多，准备发个邮件问一下

这是DOS自动回复里面的问询模板：（我给DOS的邮件也差不多这样，在邮件开头直接列了这些信息）
“
All J waiver inquiries should refer to only one case per email and must include the following:
·    Case number
·    Last name
·    First name
·    Date of birth
·    Basis under which you are applying for a waiver, and
·    A brief explanation of your inquiry
”

他们还列出了一些常见Q&A：

Below is a list of common inquiries sent to this email box.  To facilitate a more rapid response, we have provided answers to these questions.

Q:  I received a delivery confirmation for my application, but it does not appear in your online system.  Did you receive it?
A:  Applications are mailed to a lockbox in St. Louis, Missouri; this is what your delivery confirmation reflects.  Due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it can take up to twelve weeks from the time it arrives in St. Louis until it reaches our office in Washington, DC.  Your application will only appear on j1visawaiverrecommendation.state.gov once it reaches Washington, DC.  Please allow twelve weeks for your case to appear online; we appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times.

Q:  I’m applying for a No Objection Waiver.  The embassy says it sent the No Objection Statement (NOS) to you, but it isn’t reflected in your online system.  Have you received it?
A:  Embassies transmit NOS to us at various intervals and using various mechanisms.  They sometimes wait until they have multiple NOS to send, and all mail undergoes security checks before it reaches our office.  Due to factors such as these, please allow four weeks for our system to reflect receipt of your NOS.   

Q:  What is the status of my case?
A:  You may check the status of your application anytime at j1visawaiverstatus.state.gov. All case processing updates are reflected on this website.  If a case is within normal processing times, our office does not reach out to applicants directly to provide updates.   Current processing times may be found at this website.  If your case is within normal processing times, please do not email our office for a status inquiry.
