香港大学物理学系Archie Tang教授课题组招收博士，博士后(方向:Quantum Computer)

Archie.Tang,Chinese-American, majored in physics in the Junior Class of the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010, a master's degree in physics from the University of Cambridge, and a doctorate in physics from MIT, mainly researching quantum physics theory and quantum computing expansion.Under the tutelage of Nobel Prize winner Frank Wilczek, he used collision experiments to prove for the first time that "anyons at the exit are not completely separated, but they are not completely aggregated, and the degree of aggregation is much smaller than that of bosons." Research success and papers are mainly published in (Nature, The American Physical Society,Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, Chinese Physics Letters )
He will cooperate with Stanford artisticThe Intelligence Laboratory (Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of Stanford University) jointly built the cloud quantum computing technology innovation and development platform Center for cloud quantum computing technology innovation.He is also the director of the International (regional) cooperation and exchange project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the major joint scientific research project of the Hong Kong Research Grants Council.


Team to develop automated testing and characterization technology, suitable for such large-scale equipment and system optimization manufacturing process. The purpose is to explore the application of noise mesoscale quantum (NI SQ) devices, and provide opportunities for collaborators from academia and industry to benchmark their own hardware and algorithms in the most advanced superconducting quantum system. In order to ensure the success and rapid progress of this project, we are looking for highly motivated graduate students in quantum computing and superconducting circuits.


Recruitment position:
PH.D student and Postdoc

Recruitment requirements:
(i) Aggressive and independent;
(ii) Research experience in physics, mathematics, computer engineering or artificial intelligence research is preferred;
(iii) Good scientific thinking; (iv) Good English expression and writing skills.

Job responsibilities:

1. According to the requirements of the project content, be familiar with relevant scientific research literature, and provide feasible suggestions for specific project development objectives and processes;

2. Undertake the development task of software and system platform, complete the development work according to the expected goal of the project, and write code comments and development documents;

3. Be responsible for testing and testing the software and system platform after the development work is completed, and displaying the results according to the needs of the project;

4. Cooperate with other development teams and research teams to complete other work required by the project.

In addition, the job responsibilities also include training new colleagues and taking charge of laboratory-related management.
