TC的话8年也涨不到300k甚至400k？

Sorry for typing English, I don't have English input method on this laptop. I've thought about this as well. I think there are three things here. 1. People who gets really high TC tends to report it on this platform because it makes them proud. The ones who gets average or fairly low TC tends to be quiet and just observe. So this is a sample size problem. 2. People tend to exaggerate their TC to a certain degree. My friend told me about this and I didn't believe it but later I did more observation and eventually I do believe this is true. Just because you never thought about report a fake TC does not mean other people are not doing this. 3. Some people on this platform are 矫情 (copied and pasted from baidu). I've seen people telling others they should consider retirement because they are 42 years old. And people are complaining that they are still not senior software engineer yet and they are very anxious because they will be 30 next month.

My recommendation is that never beat yourself up and never compare yourself with people here. Some people is very competitive and that's no doubt but do not believe the average is what you see here on 1point3ares!
