One postdoc position in Chemical Engineering@NYU Tandon

The transformative materials and devices lab  in NYU Tandon has an opening for a postdoctoral scholar to join the team.In the expecting role, you will:
1. Provide technical expertise in advanced lithium ion batteries, especially silicon anode batteries.
2. Provide leadership electrochemistry, specifically cell assembly and testing of Li-ion cells.
3. Develop and apply quantitative techniques, generally electrochemical in nature, to the study of novel Li-ion cells.
4. Develop standard operating procedures for preparing cell components for assembly as well as cells for testing.
5. Play a key role in maintaining a robust and inclusive safety culture.
6. Publish in peer reviewed journals; contribute to scientific research papers, reports, review articles; present oral reports.

The applicant must have the extensice experience in  lithium ion battery electrochemical characterization. Excellent written and verbal comunication skills are required.
