一个周围没什么中国人朋友的ABC居然还能打这么中文字，真的很想请教你父母如何进行文化教育的，实在让人佩服

She is not interested in you. So simple. Especially she doesn’t ask you personal questions(big indicator). It has nothing to do with cultural difference. Move on, NEXT.

I never pay for my dates' food unless we become gf/bf. Even after we become gf/bf, I rarely pay for her food unless it's a very formal date, once a year thing. I dated Chinese girls from mainland too. Some of them are like that but I always insist on going dutch. They claim they want equal rights but yet they don't want to pay for stuff. We call it 又当又立 in Chinese。Just man up and move on.

2. You didn't. Then you really need to talk to someone with experience and learn from him. It is not easy, but you will get there.

Besides the miscommunication between you two there’s still some dating norm differences. Like Chinese people usually date on a meal (lunch or dinner) but not just grab a drink, and the guy usually pay for that. Also ‘don’t know how to express feelings in a polite and clear way’ is also a Chinese thing lol. I’d say if you are dating an American girl and she moves to another guy, she would honestly tell you and wish you the best, in a way making you comfortable.

Wut? You get laid and you say she’s not ‘putting enough effort’? Usually Chinese girl are much more conservative on sex (especially as a young student) and that’s a huge effort, from girl’s perspective, while at the meantime you never paid for dinner.

We might never know her perspectives but dating Chinese girl do need putting more effort in communication. Chinese girl, for culture reasons, usually don’t know how to express their expectations in a proper way, so sometimes they pretend everything is fine and sometimes they just ghost.
