[全奖博士招生]Two PhD positions in EE/CE for Spring/Fall 2023, SUNY-Buffalo

Two fully funded PhD positions are available for Spring/Fall 2023 in Dr. Zhangyu Guan's lab. One position is on chipless RFID design, and the other on wireless UAV networking, mmWave communications, AI/ML for/by wireless and software radio development. Self-motivated candidates with background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related disciplines are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with master's degree.


Candidates are expected to have:
•        Strong background in wireless communications and networking;
•        Programming skills in Python/C/C++;
•        Preferred: For the first position: research experience in electromagnetic analysis or antenna design. For the second position: research experience in applied optimization, machine learning or software radio development.
