PhD position in robotic manipulation at Purdue University

The Mechanisms and Robotic Systems (MARS) lab at Purdue University School of Industrial Engineering has a fully funded PhD opening for Fall 2023 on robotic manipulation. The key research areas in our group include robotic manipulation, soft robotics, robot design, tactile perception, and machine learning. Further information about our lab is available at www.purduemars.com. For this position, we are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in robotic motion planning, machine learning, control theory, and excellent programming skills (python and C/C++). Candidates with Bachelor's or M.S. degrees in ME, ECE, IE, AE, CS, or equivalent are welcome to apply.
