嗯，这招很阴险，不过亚麻玩这个不是一天两天了。其他公司也一样，借着reorg去裁人，变相裁人。

这种硬件部门本身就不是用来盈利的，不知道为啥这么多人在讨论亏钱的事。
臃肿是有一些，但是以盈利能力来讨论是不是没get到点

WSJ这篇报道说Andy Jassy is leading a cost-cutting review，里面反复点名device赔钱尤其是Alexa，你是不是读报道get不到点。

alexa shopping在c下面 也是个重灾区

Alexa早该砍了，org有毒又不挣钱，天天搞政治。留一些够KTLO的人手就行了，其他都可以砍了。赔钱玩意儿。

Linkedin 上看到的“ I called this almost 2-years ago (look through my posts)! Amazon should withdraw from the devices’ hardware market and focus on supporting the ecosystem and software. When Alexa was first launched it was an entirely new marketplace and it made sense for Amazon to invest in all parts of it. But today it’s a money losing hole… almost no one uses Alexa for shopping and it’s dumb as a rock even after billions invested (I have to constantly shout at it to shut up) and tens of thousands of employees focused on it.   10K employees focused on an expensive device where the top feature is “kitchen timer” is not an intelligent or rational business investment. It’s also another example of the unmitigated (and overblown) hype about AI… for all the fear-mongering that AI is here and all the impressive e.g. GPT-3 examples… have you ever heard your Alexa engage in a conversation half as intelligent as a parrot? I bet not. ”

看了这个帖子后我才知道amazon有个产品叫Alexa

和Brian O的OP1会上，device org的HC是负的，而且是负很多，要砍一批人的，认识的L8的好几个大佬都因为不想 ...

层主CFO的会议都能参加，级别至少也是L8 Director这个level的吧？
