2022 年度美国创业公司估值排名

这里总结了前40大估值最高的创业公司，前20都超过了100亿美金。虽然今年和明年是熊市，但熬过这一轮上市妥妥的。其实很多优秀的公司都要经历过萧条期，趁这个时机抄底也不错。本人看好的加粗，如果还有什么没有加上的，大家可以补充讨论。

谈谈SaaS发展趋势，还是有十年的发展黄金期。

趋势1: SaaS虽然疫情后得到更广泛的认可，但cloud渗透率目前还是不到15%，我们还是远远低估了云的力量。
硅谷Sutter Hills Venture、Sequoia，Sapphire Ventures 一线基金 一大半的 Portfolio 都是软件公司，例如 ICONIQ 在Datadog、Snowflake、Zoom 等最重要的 SaaS 公司上市时都持不少股份。全球 IT 支出 3.8 万亿美元，其实SaaS 化的比率并不高。按照 AWS、GCP和Azure这三家 run rate 目前只走到了 1600 亿美元，比率还是很低。更微观来看 Snowflake 为例 2022 财年总客户数是6K 个，收入贡献大于 100 万美元的客户数是 100多，渗透率也只走到了5-10%。

趋势2: AIML 是 Data 的下一个十年
MLOps 是应用端发展得足够完善之前最值得布局的环节， ML Workflow 中大致包括了数据准备、模型构建、模型部署及运营等环节，对应 Anyscale、Tecton、Hugging Face。 Databricks、Anyscale 是今年人才最愿意去的公司。


趋势 3 : 云原生催生新的安全需求
云时代下安全技术和安全模式创新出现。拿 Palo Alto Networks 为例，其目前大部分业务都已经向云迁移，在 2020 年时，Palo Alto Networks 传统的硬件和防火墙收入占比只有大约 30%，其余 70% 则是基于云的产品和安全服务。

趋势 4：垂直领域 SaaS的完善
就说一个代表公司Deel 解决了跨辖区和跨币种的 Payroll，并且只用了 20 个月时间就将 ARR 从 100 万美元提升至 1 亿美元，刷新 SaaS 公司最快增长纪录，公司最新的 ARR 已经接近 3 亿美元。除了 Deel，从招聘、跨币种/辖区的薪酬支付、协作，团建，员工培训，协作管理，都会发生很大变化，也都需要新的软件/功能去支持，白板协同搬到了线上  Miro 、HR 管理 SaaS Rippling，以及面向销售人员的 Gong ，文档分享notion。

安全史上最大的一笔投资，Lacework D轮 $1.3B融资，估值$8.3B安全本来就是一个很难看懂的行业，takeaway:

1. Sutter Hills Venture。 Mike Speiser! 这又是孵化了Snowflake的Sutter Hill Ventures 同一个playbook的作品。SHV的团队2015年开始搭建团队，都是一群老兵，$30+M用了四年，低调前行到2019年才接受了第一笔SHV之外的投资。然后2021年迅速爆发，一年融资超过$1.8Bn, 过去几年年收入增长超过300%

2. 做下一代的安全需要怎样的团队：大家以往觉得，安全就要找做安全的老兵呀，但是看看lacework 的高管，几乎没有在安全公司做过，都是在Google, FB， Oracle 等离云和大规模infra最近的科技大厂里做infra的。最新的安全机会，不是各种纷繁的新技术名词和攻防优化，而是会伴着infra的演进而诞生的。因此他们招人，也是招了很多做infra而没有安全经验的人。由此引申出来，新的安全机会在哪里？

3. The founding thesis of Lacework is that cloud security is fundamentally a data problem. Lacework的技术脱离了攻防的思路，从过往的使用pattern中找到异常。把单点问题变成了线和面。所以新需求会是被新的infra架构带动的。

以上列表公司估值都乘个0.5还差不多，有些还要乘个0.3。
