全职在职申请授课型硕，需先辞职再申请吗？

NUS官网上有看到这样一段：
An applicant who is employed full-time, will not be eligible to apply for full-time candidature, unless the applicant is officially on leave of absence from place of employment. The applicant is to provide documentary proof when submitting the application.
本人目前在职工作，想请教有经验的大家是否在工作的同时也能投递申请材料？从这段话里看好像是不行？
