A PostDoc and multiple PhD student positions IoT system and mmWave sensing at UNSW, Sydney Australia.

Selection Criteria (Postdoctoral fellow):
* PhD (or soon to be awarded) in computer science, electrical engineering or related areas.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
* Demonstrated track record of publications in top-rated venues such as ACM/IEEE IPSN and ACM SenSys.
* Proven hands-on implementation experience with the IoT systems and/or radio-based
device-free sensing
* Demonstrated ability to supervise Honours, Masters and/or PhD students


Selection Criteria: (PhD student)
* Knowledge of IoT, wireless communications and machine/deep learning
* Good system/programming skills.
* A bachelor’s degree in computer science/electrical engineering with First Class honours or equivalent.
* Meet the English language requirements of UNSW.

The positions are funded by the Australian Research Council Discovery Project funding scheme (https://lnkd.in/g2uUv967), CSIRO (https://lnkd.in/gwy8fEsn) and NSW state government.

Postdoctoral fellow: ~AUD110,000 per annum salary package. fixed-term, one year with the possible of one year extension pending on funding.

PhD student: fixed-term, 36 months with possible 6-month extension: ~AU$36,000 per annum (tax free). International applicants are required to apply for and be awarded a UNSW Tuition Fee Scholarship.
