前不久leetcode上一个Meta 伦敦的印度人,就裸辞,回印度 孟买。.google и
那里有亲人,有自己喜欢的生活方式,也有大厂。创业估计也更加得心应手吧

After living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area for nine and a half years, we moved back to India recently.
Before the move, my wife and I had been discussing moving back to India for a few years. But honestly, it was mostly daydreaming. Stuck in the typical immigrant lifecycle: wait for the green card, wait for more financial security, wait for this, and wait for that.
But we finally decided to be closer to our parents and families after a medical emergency with one of our family members. I don't have a green card and am far from being financially independent. But nothing of that sort mattered because the decision to move back couldn't have come any easier for us though the circumstances were unfortunate.
There was no decision to be made. And sometimes, the fewer the options we have, the easier the life gets in some circumstances.
If you eventually want to move back and spend time with your parents and family, do it sooner rather than later. Parents will only get older as every year goes by while we wait for the perfect circumstances.
I had to stay alone in the USA for nearly two months during the relocation. It was the first time I stayed away from my daughter. At some point during these lonely and anxious two months, it got me thinking if this is how badly I want to be with my daughter right now, what about my parents? |
