The Cyber and Network Security Group (CNSG) at Arizona State University, led by Prof. Yanchao Zhang (full professor and IEEE Fellow), is seeking multiple self-motivated PhD students for Fall 2023 with full scholarships. CNSG offers enrollment in either the EE or CE PhD program in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE), or the CE or CS PhD program in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI), depending on the candidate's academic background. CNSG is engaged in both fundamental and experimental research on AI/ML-driven security and privacy issues in computer and networked systems, including emerging wireless networks, mobile crowdsourcing and sensing, Internet-of-Things, social networking and computing, cloud and edge computing, big data analytics, and wireless/mobile health.
The ideal candidate will be strongly self-motivated and have aspirations for an academic career upon graduation.
