请教如何学好multivariate statistics多变量统计

这两天学multivariate statistics发现书里面全是公式和矩阵和各种加3个下标号的变量。虽说我学过线性代数可是看到multivariate manova尤其是看到multivariate two-factor manova的时候感觉有点乱啊，公式太多了。这个多元用的矩阵好像比一般的线性代数甚至优化方面的矩阵还要难不少。请学过的人说说当年是怎么样学好这门多变量统计的啊？是硬磕吗？我是想学原理而不是学怎么跑统计程序。谢谢！

They are at the end......still matrix (or tensor at most), just hit it hard.

by the way, unless you are really into advanced statistical inference, or preparing a for a phd in mathematical statistics, you can consider dropping the course.
