《中国共产主义青年团章程》提到："团员自行脱团，应由支部大会决定除名，并报上级委员会批准。“这里说的是”应“而不是强制性的”必须“，因此自行脱团者并不一定要团组织出具相关证明其已经脱团。

相反，《章程》提到”团员没有正当理由，连续六个月不交纳团费、不过团的组织生活，或连续六个月不做团组织分配的工作，均被认为是自行脱团。“也就说，只要是连续六个月无理由不过组织生活等，一律被认为自行脱团。因此，申请人可以通过团员证上的团籍注册记录或者宣誓公证等证明自己已经自行脱团。

“助手”或者类似的表述其他组织例如妇联也有，而且还是在中共中央办公厅签发的，高于妇联章程的上位文件中，从共产党的角度做出的直接表述。

至于“后备军”，可以参见下面一段对话：
我：团章程里写了是党的后备军
律师：团员将来一定是党员么？
我：不一定
律师：那党员要求必须现在或者曾经是团员么？
我：也没有。
律师：那这后备军不就是自己上杆子贴上去的。。。
我：但理论上确实写了
律师：理论上？理论上所有符合入党条件但还没入党的都是“后备军”。

附：共产党党章中的党员资格：
年满十八岁的中国工人、农民、军人、知识分子和其他社会阶层的先进分子，承认党的纲领和章程，愿意参加党的一个组织并在其中积极工作、执行党的决议和按期交纳党费的，可以申请加入中国共产党

而且，哪怕是群团组织，人家指的是也共青团中央委员会，不是整个共青团，需要团内职务到达一定级别才行。换句话说，如果一个人只是普通团员或者低级别干部，他连是这个“群团组织”的资格都没有，更别提共产党的affiliate了。。。

其实，无论你怎么写，拿绿卡后的任何纠纷都是有法庭处理，既然是法庭，他们就必须有官方的证据证明你是党员，问题是，中国zf 不会给他们提供这个官方证明，而如果他们是非法获得的证据又很难证明是官方的……

《共产党章程》中明确提到了党和共青团的关系，结合实际可以认定共青团为共产党的subsidiary组织，从而根据联邦法规将共青团定义为一个“共产党”组织。至于别的组织，显然还不能算作subsidiary级别。

法规里面写的很明确，affiliation to CP指的不是组织的附属组织，而是指组织的相关个人，即虽然不是成员（交会员费等），但向该组织捐款等。

换句话说，团员不是affiliate to CP，而是a member of Communist Party，而这个Communist Party具体来说不是中国共产党，而是中国共青团。

See Matter of A---, 6 I&N Dec. 524 (BIA 1955) (where the respondent was found to be a member of the Communist Party based on a witness testifying that he had seen the respondent's name on official Communist Party records, received a Communist Party membership book issued to the respondent, and another witness testifying to seeing the respondent at a Communist Party meeting).

Also see Wellman v. Butterfield, 235 F.2d 932 (7th Cir. 1958) (finding that a witness testifying to attending over a hundred closed Communist Party meetings with the respondent and that the witness had issued the respondent a membership card and collect dues from the respondent was sufficient to prove membership in the Communist Party).

团元少先队还是算了，未成年，其实你写不写，他们也知道，都是，一个也跑不掉，但是未成年的事追究起来没什么意义

这个视频有一个处讲得有道理，其实485这个选项的设置意义是用来把人区分开来对待，14亿人口都是少先队和团员，如果必须写yes的话，这个选项就没有意义了。它主要是用来区分党员 非党员的。

就好比 485里加一个选项，你是不是中国人，14人口都是，只能选yes，那这个选项没有存在的必要了。

真要硬杠的话，这一条：

The direct predecessors or successors of any such association or party, regardless of what name such group or organization may have used, may now bear, or may hereafter adopt; and

基本上所有欧洲（法国，德国，瑞典，挪威等等）左翼政党成员都符合条件，毕竟一两百年前都有communist party association：
比如德国最大党Social Democratic Party of Germany：

The SPD was established in 1863. It was one of the earliest Marxist-influenced parties in the world.

瑞典最大党 Swedish Social Democratic Party:

The party had influences from Marxism in its early days, but these were gradually removed in the years leading up to the split in 1917.

从来没听说有人在这个问题上选择Yes的。

此外，Rowoldt v. Perfetto 提到party membership必须是meaningful association。
很难认为普通团员就满足meaningful association
