MRS Relevance team is responsible for critical path components in RS (Recommendation System) including Signals, Retrieval, Ranking and Post Ranking stages optimization. We build novel technologies including non-dot product based retrieval, LLM/GNN for RS, Multimodal/Multi-surfaces Signal Modeling, Long-Term User Value modeling, Reinforcement Learning and Responsive Modeling. We partner with major recommendation products at Meta including Instagram & Facebook Reels and In-Feed Recommendations teams (IFR) and directly drive company topline metrics.
