Fully Funded PhD Positions at Univ. of Oklahoma - Control, Optimization, Energy

The Energy Systems and Controls Lab at The University of Oklahoma invites applications for PhD student and/or postdoc positions. We have at least two positions available on
- Li-ion battery system modeling, control, state estimation, and optimization
- Systems-level optimization and deployment of autonomous electric vehicles

The positions are fully funded through our new projects from U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST). Desired technical background include system modeling, optimal control, state estimation, optimization, system identification, and vehicle electrification.

Prof. Dong Zhang: PhD and MS in Systems Engineering from UC Berkeley, postdoc from Carnegie Mellon University.
