同问，很担心本来邮件套得挺好的，电面一问就把印象搞砸了，所以想知道什么时候要开始好好准备下电面

我觉得现在大多说陶瓷没有什么用，虽然我的回复率超过一半了，但是有价值的很少

现在不是时候,太早了. 老师干吗要现在就作决定... 等明年把手里的候选人集中比较,不比现在着急作决定要好多了吗

那对方要了简历，又没回信了。这种情况还有戏吗？

什么情况才会导致电面呀，好像示好的教授也没有要求电面啊

太早了...换你做老师的话, 你愿意现在看到一个就给offer,还是等明年从大量优秀人群中选?

找教授的人很多，他们经历过很多年的招生，自然不会现在就把名额给你，他也知道你如果真的优秀会申请更好的学校，如果是瘪货，那回都不回了！

我来顶一下吧，正好问问大家的意见，接下去该怎么回：（牛牛们请现身吧）

I am copying this to Nancy, who is our Graduate School Coordinator, asking her to provide you with the necessary instructions and materials on our Graduate Program in xxx. I assume it is not late yet for you to apply for the next year's admission.

The admission process is competitive, but based on what you tell me in your letter you are likely to be a good candidate. I am personally interested in students with xxx education, and I will give your application my full consideration.

这封信同时发给我那个秘书nancy了。。 我就回复了一下，说：
It's great to receive your feedback!
I'll contact Nancy and try to submit my application before the deadline.

就这两句。。
然后下面该怎么办呢？。。 是不是开始看看他的论文，准备讨论点学术啥的，以维持关系？？

另外还有两三封。。 回复的都是套话。。。 让我申请找研究生院。。。

自己都感觉自己挺招人烦的。。。 sigh

为啥教授会说I assume it is not late yet for you to apply for the next year's admission呢…… 显然离deadline还早着呢？教授不应该连大概的deadline都不了解吧……？

如果LS申的是Spring Admission，请无视我……

It so happens that I will be visiting OOOO University this month, as part of the Sino-Canada Joint Workshop on Information Engineering being organized by Prof. WC.  I would like to conduct a brief interview with you while I am in SSSS.  Will you be available either Wednesday, October 14, or Thursday, October 15, in the evening?  We can hold the interview in the hotel where I will be staying.  I will send you more information at a later date.  I would also appreciate it if you could send me a list of the courses you have already completed.

面试前还要继续套么，我怕货都套了，面试就没东西好说了。。另外要我学过课程是什么意思？
