Students whose undergraduate studies did not include material equivalent to that covered in the
following WSU courses will be asked to take course work to resolve that undergraduate
deficiency: Cpt S 121, 122, 223, 260, 317, 355, 360, 450; Phil 201 and Math 216. All of these
courses should be completed before the student is eligible for admission to the MS or PhD
Program in Computer Science. The admissions committee may require the student to correct

Students with deficiencies in the required fundamental coursework may be admitted under the condition that they must remedy any deficiencies by taking the courses above or by taking (at IIT) the accelerated course equivalents CS 401 (Introduction to Advanced Studies I) and CS 402 (Introduction to Advanced Studies II). TheCS 201/401 Placement Exam is used to determine whether or not CS 201 must be taken before taking CS 401.  Applicants who do not have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science must meet the following fundamental undergraduate coursework requirements to be admitted to the Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) and Master of Computer Science (MCS) degree programs:

A student may discover he or she needs to take one or more elementary 100-level courses in order to be prepared to take the 200 or higher level courses.  In such cases, the 100-level courses do not count toward the 30 credit requirement.  Such 100-level courses are referred to as "bridging courses", and may be appropriate when a student has an undergraduate degree in a subject distant from computer science.  Tuition must be paid for necessary bridging courses as well as the courses that count toward the MS degree.

1 -> 大家如果去ua网站上看的话会看到mis需要工作经验，但是有好多来的同学都木有，特别是中国人，所以这个不用担心。
2 -> 给一下去年申请和录取的比例吧。申请：1400。录取：81。竞争还是挺激烈的。
