QA Engineer Intern

We are seeking a QA engineer intern to join our organization. The internship job is a paid full time job position.

Job description:

Work with Senior QA Engineers to learn existing tests, expand on those tests, and build complete test suites:

#1 Possess technical competency to interact with stakeholder to ensure software quality

#2 Execute manual and automation test cases and automate new and existing test cases

#3 Perform exploratory tests of new features and bug fixes

 #4 Report bugs and track solutions down to the final delivery

 #5 Create test execution records and record test results

#6 Define, implement and maintain the testing strategy according to business requirements and software implementation strategy

 #7 Contribute to code reviews, with special emphasis on testability

#8 Be an active team member, driving quality, security and best practice

Requirements:

·Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Wireless Automation/Manual Test Engineer (Intermediate)

We are seeking a wireless test engineer (Automation and Manual) to join our organization.

Job Location:

Onsite job at Mountain View, CA

Responsibilities:

-Validate features manually and with automation (Bluetooth, WiFi)

-Program automation scripts to optimize testing process

-Apply existing processes to plan and execute tests for small to mid-size components and/or product features

- Utilize test tools and manual testing to validate software, seeking input from team members on the best test techniques to utilize

- Take a defined test plan and deliver against it on schedule, providing quality reports and status updates

- Participate in test planning, scoping and prioritization discussions

- Report bugs, providing complete information that is actionable and reproducible

- Find bugs worth fixing and identify prevention methods and troubleshoot and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of problems, and track defects through resolution

Requirements:

·Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

·Understanding and experience with the Android Framework and Bluetooth service/stack in Android.

·1+ years of experience with Programming languages such as C, C#, C++, Java, Python, etc.

·1+ years of experience with Software Test or System Tests, developing and automating test plans, and tools

·Experienced in utilizing tools, including Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers

·Understanding software test techniques, such as equivalence class partitioning, boundary value testing, etc.
