请大家帮忙看看议员的关于H1B 签证加急的回复

情况是这样的：LZ 3周前在北京大使馆面签H1B被check，前两天以两个娃在美国生病了（一个3岁一个1岁，都是美国出生）需要人照顾（老婆人在美国）为由联系议员，请议员帮忙expedite一下。议员联系了DOS，并且把DOS的回信发给了我：


Thank you for your email regarding XXXs Temp Worker Distinguished Merit ( Other Than Nurse) (H1B) nonimmigrant visa application.

We reviewed Department of State consular records and found that XXX was most recently interviewed at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China on December 31, 2024. A consular officer determined that the applicant had not established eligibility for the visa and refused the application under INA 221(g).  Currently, their case is pending the completion of administrative processing after which the consular officer may re-adjudicate the application.

We understand your constituents’ frustration with the outcome.  U.S. embassies and consulates issue visas in accordance with the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).  A visa may only be issued if all documentary requirements have been met,  and the applicant demonstrates that they are eligible to the satisfaction of a consular officer.

While we cannot predict when the additional administrative processing of XXX’s visa will be completed, depending upon the results, a consular officer may reconsider XXX’s eligibility for the visa at a later time.  Please be assured that the U.S. embassy or consulate and the Department of State are aware of your constituent’s concerns.

有几个问题想请教：
1.       这么看是不是我的case还在AP，并且DOS不愿意expedite我的case？
2.       感觉DOS的语气很强硬，一直在强调还在AP，并且AP后还需要consulate officer re-adjudicate，而且说无法预测AP complete的时间，意思是不是需要很久才能完成AP，并且被拒的可能性很大？
3.       注意这句话“While we cannot predict when the additional administrative processing of XXX’s visa will be completed”，里面有个additional AP，这个additional指的是什么？跟普通的AP有什么不一样吗？
4.       最近很焦虑，娃的确在生病，医生写的病条也附上了，老婆也有点生病，公司那边也不大愿意再等。。。我自己给大使馆写了几次邮件，大使馆都不回。现在议员帮我问，感觉也没啥用。不知道还有什么办法可以催签了。给公司HR写邮件问能不能开个support letter，HR也不回。。。大家觉得还有什么其他办法吗？谢谢了！
