Ant Group North American Technology team is looking for a talented, creative, and passionate software engineer to help build a cutting-edge and innovative payment system to solve our merchant and consumer needs. As a self-motivated and enthusiastic member of our team, you will work with extremely talented peers in a fun environment building performance efficient payment authorization services that are highly scalable, configurable and available. You will be encouraged to innovate and move in a fast pace to deliver solution to our customers.

Responsibilities. ----
As a Software Engineer at Ant International US, you will:

• Develop product features — Design, implement, and test core functionality for Antom products delivered via applications and services.
• Drive engineering excellence — Work in a nimble, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on problem solving and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate across teams — Partner with peers, senior engineers, and architects across the organization and geographies to build reliable, scalable technical solutions.
• Deliver customer value — Work closely with product managers to translate requirements into high-quality customer experiences.
• Own quality — Apply QA best practices and self-testing methodologies to ensure your deliverables meet production standards.
• Operate production systems — Perform local technical operations on all Ant International products in the US market.
• Grow the team — Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Qualifications：

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, master's degree in a relevant discipline

Experience:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience, payment system experience is a significant plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and ship production-grade software
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native architectures is preferred
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)-baidu 1point3acres
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns

Preferred Qualifications.--

• Vibe coding skills — Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and leveraging coding tools effectively.1point3acres
• Agentic engineering experience — Understanding of AI agent systems, LLM integration, or agentic frameworks is a strong plus
• Experience with payment processing, financial systems, or fintech products
