清华大学新AP招 AI x Energy 领域的PhD

PhD recruiting in AI × Energy at Tsinghua (Shenzhen, China)

My friend is joining Tsinghua University as a new Assistant Professor next year, at the Institute of Future Human Habitat, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS).
She completed her PhD at Harvard University, followed by postdoctoral research and teaching at Harvard. They're building a new group and looking for some PhD students (Chinese or international students are all welcome) for Fall 2027.

🔬 The research: Autonomous Energy Systems
AI-driven control & optimization for industrial park- and city-scale energy systems
MPC / Reinforcement Learning / Multi-Agent AI for Energy
Virtual Power Plants (VPP), storage, demand response & electricity markets
Energy foundation models & Scientific AI

The group cares deeply about research that goes beyond papers. They will deploy and validate algorithms in real campus and urban energy systems

🧑🔬 Who fits: AI/CS, automation & control, EE, energy, building science, or anyone genuinely excited about autonomous energy systems. Strong coding beats exact background.
