哥大～这是录了吗？！

今天做毕设爬新浪微博写成了狗 一个人走回寝 就收到邮件，是说录了吗？还是要等学校最后通知？查了网申系统也显示recommended for admission 应该不会有问题吧？？！！

Dear XXX,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been recommended for admission to Columbia University’s MS program in Computer Science.

. ----

You have every reason to be proud of this accomplishment. The admissions process was very competitive; you were selected amongst the most talented individuals from prestigious institutions all over the world.

The Office of Graduate Student Affairs (GSA) will send your official admission letter electronically within a few business days, which will include instructions on how to respond to the offer and more information on the next steps. If you have not done so already, please mail all official transcripts and if required degree certificates to GSA. In addition, send official test scores from ETS (www.ets.org) to institution code 2111. If you do not receive your official admission letter after a few business days, you may send an email to seasgradmit@columbia.edu. However, rest assured that your application will be processed as quickly as possible.

The Computer Science department does not provide funding, including partial or supplemental financial support for external funding, for Master of Science students.

If you are not completely comfortable with the English language and you think you might have language difficulties in the courses, we recommend that you register for the American Language Program (ALP) courses early. You can find more information about the ALP program at http://ce.columbia.edu/alp.

Congratulations, and hope to see you soon.

Best regards,

Mihalis Yannkakis

Professor and MS Program Chair

但是黑哥大的也不少。。。

我觉得哥大一直都挺好，就是前两年相对招的人比较多，但是从地里的帖子看最后大家找的工作都还不错。这两年收人又变得越来越严格。
学费确实是稍贵了点~
