都是Biostat的项目有，纠结了很久了，求了解情况的分析分析

如果是就业向，那么会不会UMASS的地理位置更适合找工作呢？毕竟是master，不可能像PHD一样那么有优势全国找工作。

我个人觉得U Mass地点好于UB，buffalo离纽约7个多小时呢，这个你还是最好多问问吧，U mass毕竟不了解呀

1. umass没看到医学院，但是生物统计应该开了几年了。ufl有医学院。
2.学校附近药厂，umass所在马萨诸塞州 是不少，只是它在小镇上。 ufl的话，感觉是度假旅游。
毕业生去向的话，ufl 好像继续本校读博的不少，umass的毕业生去向没看到。
3.课程的话，从我这个外行看，ufl看着还行。
4. 其实直观感觉是ufl好。=。=
求帮助。 我去读MS 生物统计。谢谢。

UFL is using tricky words to confusingly cheat you - we anticipate that many of our students will find part-time positions inside or outside the University while taking a load of 9 credits per Fall/Spring semesters.

- First of all, "UFL anticipate" sounds like you will have very good chance to find a job, but does not mean that at all.
- Second, "many" means nothing provided that UFL cannot deliver an effective statistic data for their students with part-time employment during their study.
- Third, their "our students will find part-time positions inside or outside the University" does not work for an international student (students who are not holding green card or US citizenship), as international students in the US are not legally allowed to work off campus. If UFL really has many promising job positions on campus, then why UFL is not offering you with a TA/RA position right now?
- Moreover, the term "9 credits" used a mathmatical number, which makes it look to be scientifically precise. However, all graduate students in the US mostly take courses of 9 credits in total every semester. Therefore, such information - “9 credits” is essentially useless.

Basically, the most critical difficulty for a student with such a poor admission from UFL wish to resolve the financial problem for graduate study. In this shitty letter, UFL trickily utilized students' thoughts and delivered some information to make the letter look like to be super promising for the students. (If you read the letter and think if you do not go to UFL, you will be giving up a lot of highly valued job opportunities and regreting it in your entire life...) Be truly careful of such bastard schools like UFL. What they are calculating at this time is just to let you believe them, come to UFL, and collect your money!...

至于学分的问题，我个人不是很赞同，虽然有不少学校9学分算full time，但是还有有不少学校需要12个学分才算full-time，如果有RA或者TA，则9个学分算full time。
根据小米的回复，貌似转PHD比较困难，具体就不知道了，建议你去问小米要一下之前几年的数据，或者直接联系那边的学长，学姐

恩。下午刚刚问了别人，得到的答案也是，之前的原则是 不留下。留下要很优秀才可以的。
