I graduated from UB and I have a phd friend from bio and then she went to Havard for postdoc~ She got a greencard through EB1 and now has a pretty good paid job in NJ.

这些都是学校自己定的，我们graduate要求是8

That has to be the top student in the program, and I don't think I have heard any student in biostat went to harvad to be postdoc theses years. Your bio refers to biology or biostat, they are totally 2 different programs.
