请问Vanderbilt EE的这个MS to PhD项目是什么情况

我前几天收到了Vandy的邮件问我对EE的MS to PhD项目有兴趣没，他描述的是
students choosing to follow the MS  and PhD program will enter  and complete the MS first, then in the first semester of the second year of the MS degree you will take  a preliminary exam to determine if you continue toward your PhD. 有没有了解这个项目的？
