请问楼主觉得啥方向比较好啊，想了解一下哈

F16小学弟先弱弱地congs楼主一下～然后也关注一下选方向的问题～

本来只是来吐槽的。眼瞅着一大波学校都悲剧了，唯一一个录取还没钱。结果都开始讨论方向了。方向这个东西只要是真爱就没有坑的，总会有出路的。我自己觉得喜欢的和对未来职业规划有帮助的方向才不坑，但每个人的情况肯定又不一样。

fundings usually will be obtained first by the MS student in their university. So RA, is probably, not realistic. The only thing you can compete is, Fellowship.

So that is to say, AD means offer. If you continue to attend, you will probably end up with TA for serveral years

I know someone got fundings when he is only has AD.

Also, if you are a PhD without funding but you have an advisor. You applied for TA for every year. Because you are PHD and you will be first selected as TA.

Funding will come all of a sudden, and then is spent out quickly. If someone got the money, it will spread very very fast among students.

I got my master's degree from Purdue ME. The funding situation there is very tough. To be an international TA, you have to pass their speaking English test, which is hard, too. So to secure funding, you should contact new professor for RA, and senior professor for TA or fellowship.

系里给的录取没提funding，但已经指定了一个AP做advisor，但是我之前完全没接触过这个老师和他的方向，你知道是怎么回事吗？我对这个老师的research topics不感兴趣，到是拿到录取后有两个老师(一个AP一个Associate)开始联系我，不过具体的可能要去学校面谈。Purdue的funding问题真不是个例，公立学校都穷疯了。我老板的学生去Berkeley做AP，给的启动资金连设备都买不起，还要和别的老师借，他都哭穷说只能考虑拿fellowship进去的学生。

OMG， 表吓我，Purdue真的这么穷吗？ 我今天刚录了Purdue cs fellowship 只管一年，那我去了之后岂不是坑了啊？
