IUB Kelley商学院OM项目面经(Indiana Universiy Bloomington)

昨天晚上10点面的，今天起来写写面经，地里的OM项目面经比较少，给后人做做贡献~~

面试过程持续1个小时，分成3拨人，问的非常细，就凭这一点感觉IUB Kelley是个好商学院~~

第一拨人（4个faculty, 15min,领头的是Dr. Kyle Cattani）
第一拨感觉问的比较笼统：
1. 是不是在家过春节~~问我春节都做了些什么
2. 申请IUB Kelley PhD的过程~~（相当于Why OM PhD? Why IUB Kelley）
3. 有没有什么课外爱好~
4. 申请Operations Management的数学基础，都修了哪些数学课~
该我问：
1. 毕业有没有publication的要求：有

第二波 （2个人，20min, 项目coordinator + Dr. Qiuping Yu）
1. 选了一篇working paper来问，各种细节（研究目的，数据来源，方法）
2. 成绩单上的数学课时business school leveL的还是engineering school level的？
3. Dr. Yu介绍了自己的研究
该我问：
1. How long will you make the final decision?
2. Dr Yu, your research incorporates empirical study and customer behavior into queueing system, what do you think of the prospects of this area?

第三波人：（2个人，20min, Dr. Alex Mills + Dr.这个我不认识，像是印度人，态度很友好~）
1. 问我research interests
2. 介绍了一下他们各自的研究 (Dr. Mills 是做healthcare operations in emergency event and mass-casaulty; 另一个老师是做energy的)
3. 发现我是undergraduate student以后，问为什么直接读PhD?为什么不先读一下Master？
4. Besides study, what do you do to relax yourself?
5. 又开始问某一个研究的Methodology, 研究结果~~

网速很差，中途断了N次，后面就没有开视频了，还有一次他们打电话过来，整个1小时我简直是挨过来的···邮件上说several faculty,我以为就2，3个；没想到3拨人连番轰炸；不过说明IUB Kelley还是很认真的一所商学院~~

不管能不能录我 （我觉得可能性不大，中途有几次老师对我的回答好像不是很满意···），还是觉得挺开心的，也是一次锻炼啦，刚好有兴趣的同学可以了解一些IUB Kelley的PhD的面试模式，也好做准备~~
