现在是不是套磁有点早了，老师回复没有计划，或者直接拒掉的意思。大神指导下。1、Many thanks for your inquiry.  You have a very strong background and should be very competitive for PhD programs.  Unfortunately, I am not planning to add a new PhD student in Fall 2017 because I have students in all of my funded projects.  I wish you every success in your search

Your background is very interestin。Have you done any field work for research and, or as part of your studies?
My students are generally required to spend quite a bit of time in the field (remote field camps in the Arctic).

5、Thank you for your interest in our program. You’ve had an impressively productive early career and I can see that we have many interests in common. I am beginning a new project focussed on the mechanics of ice-sediment interations beneath glaciers, and I might get started on another focussed on ground ice on Mars. However, at the moment I can’t say for certain whether I will have funding for a phd student next fall in these areas. Our application deadline comes up in January 2017, and if you are interested in either of these research areas, it would be worth getting in touch later in the autumn.
6、I will be reviewing applications for next year around January. Thank you for contacting me. I think your qualifications would fit well with our efforts in the Arctic to understand the hydrology of permafrost. However, I’ll note that admission is very competitive. We usually receive about 40 applicants for our hydro program (~400 over-all to the department), and admit 1-4 students (~80 over-all). Your odds would drastically increase if you have your own funding like a scholarship from your government.In any case, should you pursue your application, we will do our detailed assessments in late December through January.
7、I'm afraid I'm not looking for grad students at this time.
