申请的时候那个required的fellowship list 填啥呀，还有下面要填的原因

还有半个多月就截止了才开始申请，发现各种不会填的东西 ，申PhD
1.佐治亚理工：List all fellowships for which you are applying and the status of each application. (required) 这玩儿填什么啊，感觉Gatech就没几个fellowship是给外国人的，而且根本没有去申请，required是不是不能空啊
后面还需要写一个Please provide a brief statement outlining your financial needs, skills and strengths for consideration in making financial awards. Do not include information provided in the Statement of Purpose below. 有过来人告知一下这个应该怎么填吗


2.普渡：有个diversity essay 让
Describe your leadership, work experience, service experience, or other significant involvement with racial, ethnic, socio-economic, or educational communities that have traditionally been underrepresented in higher education, and how these experiences would promote a diversity of views, experiences, and ideas in the pursuit of research, scholarship, and creative excellence.
但后面又说
The Purdue University Doctoral Fellowship, David M. Knox Fellowship, or George Washington Carver Fellowship, requires the submission of the diversity essay. Potential recipients of these fellowships are students who have received a degree from an accredited U.S. high school (include name of U.S. High School, City, State, and Zip code in your essay) and demonstrate superior academic achievements and abilities.这是不是就是外国人不用写的意思


发邮件问小米都没有回，又不好意思问勾搭的老师，有前辈指导一下吗

同问！！！我现在也卡在fellowship这里了，好坑爹啊

我是申请MS都是required

fellowships 我感觉应该是这样理解，因为某些学校里面也要求“选择”fellowship you are applying for，这些选项里面都是类似于NSF这类大型的国家层面的基金资助，所以我感觉申请里面让填的这类fellowships大概都是指代这类，类似于公家出去赞助你读grad的情况。当然这只是我个人的理解。所以对国际学生来说，这个可以空着。

请问GT那个是一定要写是指的Statement of Financial Need吗？Fellowship那个没申请能空着吗？

我写了一个research assistantship。。感觉没什么用 看了一下基本没有给外国人的fellowship
