在一波催促下,今天hr终于发来了选组list,想请教下各位这些组怎么选?
跟hr电话时聊到做过的项目,提到一句智能交通,然后hr就推荐了一个last mile组,想请教下有没有了解这个组情况的前辈?
Last Mile Operations - Seattle, WA
Amazon.com's Logistics technology group is responsible for developing and implementing cutting edge initiatives in delivering packages to our customers as fast as possible while lowering costs for the company. As an SDE on this team, your main focus is innovation in the customer and delivery experience, and building the next generation services which will serve the needs for fast growing selection of items on Amazon.com and new business ventures. This is the same team that delivered last mile innovations such as Amazon Now, Prime Now and Amazon Flex. You will work on hard problems at scale and will have autonomy to deliver. You will learn about real-time adaptive transportation solutions, routing algorithms and optimizations, operating on large-scale datasets, mobile development, web and services, and more.

AWS Marketplace - Seattle, WA
AWS Marketplace is disrupting and innovating in the software and service procurement industry. We develop AWS services to discover, ingest, recommend, procure, meter and bill for some of the most innovative services that are being developed on the AWS platform.

AWS Catalog Services - Seattle, WA
AWS Catalog Services makes it very easy to create, manage and scale individual resources such as EC2 instances, EBS volumes and RDS databases. We are looking for talented, motivated and passionate software development engineers to be part of the team and extend the Amazon Web Services capabilities by giving developers and systems administrators an easy way to create and manage a collection of related AWS resources as a single unit, manage the lifecycle of applications on the Amazon Web Services platform and make AWS the place to run your business. If you are excited to solve problems that are raised by challenging questions like: How do I see all of the resources my application requires in a single place? How can I reliably duplicate my infrastructure between test, staging, and production environments? How should I name my resources so multiple developers and applications don’t conflict? How can I make sure everything I need started correctly, and in the right sequence? How do I manage and operate my application when it is running and, how can I make sure things are cleaned up reliably and automatically when something goes wrong? As a member of the team, you will bring the simplicity that AWS offers for managing individual resources to the task of repeatedly and predictably creating entire groups of related resources that power your applications, making creating and inter-connecting all resources your application requires to run is now as simple as creating a single EC2 or RDS instance.

AWS Work Suite - Seattle, WA
Amazon WorkSpaces is a managed desktop computing service in the cloud. Amazon WorkSpaces allows customers to easily provision cloud-based desktops that allow end-users to access the documents, applications and resources they need with the device of their choice, including laptops, iPad, Kindle Fire, Android tablets, and zero clients. With a few clicks in the AWS Management Console, customers can provision a high-quality cloud desktop experience for any number of users at a cost that is highly competitive with traditional desktops and half the cost of most virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions. As a member of Workspace development team, you will have opportunities to work on several technology area from Workspace core service that provisions desktops, provides secure access to the provisioned desktops, develop and optimize network protocols for display and IO remoting and client software on IOS, Android and Windows, on various form factors. You will also build functionality that allows admins to scale their fleet, and manage it effectively. You will work on challenges such as reducing the time it takes to provision virtual desktops, enhance the management capabilities of the console while maintaining its simplicity, building internal and external APIs, and building tools for data collection, analysis and monitoring to improve customer experience and smooth operation. From a customer point of view, it is an opportunity to delight our customers in both experience and simplicity. From an engineering perspective, it is a great opportunity to build distributed systems, using industry leading AWS constructs such as EC2, EBS, DynamoDB, EMR and SWF.

AWS Developer Tools - Seattle, WA
Developer Productivity and Tools is a group of teams focused on making Amazon Web Services a positive and productive developer experience. We include services like AWS Elastic Beanstalk and AWS CloudFormation, language specific SDKs, Tools, Documentation, and Management consoles that make it easy to get started with AWS, simple to use, and hard to imagine life without. Through our educational content, blogs, and conference activity we help developers be part of the larger AWS community where they can learn, share, and get inspired.

Supply Chain Optimization Technology – Seattle, WA
Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) is looking for passionate, results-oriented, inventive software engineers who want to build Amazon’s next generation inventory planning experimentation platform.  Imagine being part of a team that peers into the future to predict inventory flows for the millions of items available on Amazon.com worldwide. Inventory planning involves many algorithms to buy inventory in the right quantities, at the right frequencies, from the right vendors, and assigning to the best warehouse to fulfill forecasted customer demand. Our system lives at the heart of these algorithms, keeping up with the rapid pace of optimization improvements and simulating how they interact with each other. We simulate what these systems will do for months into the future, predicting inventory flows across the network, from vendors to customers. This experimentation platform is critical in understanding labor needs, managing our network capacity, and allowing continued optimizations to the many algorithms we simulate.  Imagine building large scale, intelligent software on the Cloud that can simulate trillions of inventory events per day. Imagine saving hundreds of millions of dollars using cutting edge science, machine learning, and scalable distributed software on the Cloud that automates and optimizes inventory, supply chain and shipments to customers

Seller Support – Seattle, WA
The WW Seller Support and Seller Performance organization’s primary mission it is to develop products, services, and support for Amazon’s Sellers in 11 Marketplaces around the world.  Marketplace Sellers are a critical element of Amazon’s flywheel because they bring unique selection, low prices, and customer service to millions of Amazon’s customers.  The Seller Support and Seller Performance team manages all of the critical interfaces Sellers have with Amazon through a variety of functions including; Product Management, Technology, Business Intelligence / Analytics, Operations, Machine Learning / AI, and Leadership Development.  This team’s goal is to drive continuous customer, product and management innovation that increases value for customers and revenue for Sellers.  We develop our products and services by working backwards from the Seller experience as well as the experience Seller’s deliver to customers.  The team’s aim is to provide a differentiated, world-class Seller experience that makes Amazon the essential component of Sellers’ online strategy.

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies – Seattle, WA
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. AFT builds and operates software, hardware, and processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move many millions of units of inventory, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure that customers get what they want when we promised we would get it to them. We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well, while relying on people to handle things that humans do well. Our environment is global and complex with a variety of software and systems, including industrial machines and protocols. We are constantly innovating in the ways we are automating and accelerating the delivery of products and packages which includes building custom hardware and applying machine learning, image processing, and real-time data processing using distributed systems.

eCFI3 – Seattle, WA
The eCommerce Financial, Integration, Innovation and Infrastructure (eCFI3) organization enables the growth of Amazon’s businesses, unimpeded by the challenges related to scale and operational complexity. Our technical teams around the world play a significant role in developing systems and business processes for managing financial transaction data, the invoicing functionality enabling Amazon Business transactions on our platform, management of payment operations, and the standardization of the way we operate, build, deploy and run services across the company. The Financial Ledger and Accounting Systems Hub (FLASH) is the platform which delivers timely, complete and accurate financial information to Amazon’s general ledger. In the most simplified description, FLASH is responsible for mapping business events generated by Amazon Customer transactions into Accounting Events for accurate and balanced accounting. FLASH team is building massive distributed systems to address these high volume challenges while pushing the leading edge of cloud computing in the enterprise. FLASH is looking for strong, innovative engineers to help us mold cutting edge cloud computing technologies (SWF, EC2, SQS, S3, DynamoDB) into a secure and scalable global financial integration platform that will serve Amazon for the next decade.  The complexity of our project requires a team of developers who are interested in working on large scale, highly distributed systems and who can bring new ideas with the confidence to put them to the test as we change the transmission on the rapidly moving bus that is Amazon.
