statement of background and goals 里面遇到一个问题

申请ME专业，学校要求statement of background and goals 里面包含A discussion of specific research topics and methods you might pursue in your thesis research
想问下地里的学长学姐，大神们，我这么写可以吗？因为自己确实不知道啊！

Actually，I do not really sure what challenge I will face in my graduate study and research, or what specific reserach topics I will choose, it will depend on my future study, but one thing I can promise is that once I choose a interesting topic I will do my research earnestly, looking up relative materials, discussing with reserach fellows, and asking professors. I feel confident that I can be a valuable student in ***’s community and make accomplishments that both you and my alma mater will be proud of.
