Post-Doctoral Research Scholar - OPEN POSITION
Prof. Oldinski is currently accepting applications for a post-doctoral research position in the area of biomaterials, specifically polysaccharide-based tissue sealants. The NIH-funded position will focus on the structure-function analysis of manufactured alginate-based lung sealants for in vivo applications. Responsibilities will include polymer chemistry, hydrogel fabrication, and in vitro and in vivo sealant testing. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a closely-related field, prior to the start of the position. Graduate Research Assistant - OPEN POSITIONS
Prof. Oldinski is currently accepting applications for a graduate research assistant in the area of biomaterials, specifically looking at the structure-function relationship of smart biomaterials for medical applications. The NIH-funded position will allow a student to earn a PhD in Materials Science, Bioengineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Responsibilities will include polymer chemistry, hydrogel fabrication, and in vitro and in vivo materials testing. Applicants should hold a bachelor degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a closely-related field. Students with prior research experience are encouraged to apply.
