wisc ad成功转offer（RA+TW）

WISC：Unfortunately, we cannot offer you guaranteed financial support. If you accept our offer,we have special industry-funded 50% Research Assistantships (EPIC RAship) for first-year
graduate students without guaranteed support, for which you are eligible to apply. Epic
RAships are offered to all applicants who qualify, but the interview process is rigorous. To
date, about one third of the applicants have been successful. If you qualify, these RAships
provide a stipend of $16,668, in addition to tuition remission and health benefits. You can
learn more about these RAships at our Welcome Weekend March 23-24. There are also
other opportunities for support on campus, such as Research or Project Assistantships. If
you aren’t able to obtain one of those forms of support it will be necessary to provide your
own financial support.

已经从ACM Fellow那拿到RA+TW。
If ur appointment is at least a 33 1/3% appointment, u are eligible to participate in the Graduate Assistant Health Insurance program.

If ur appointment is at least a 33 1/3% appointment, u will receive remission of the tuition portion of ur tuition and fees.

邮件没给任何funding信息，也因为wisc的教授一直保持联系，也就放弃Davis了～

总共申请了13所，其余11所都是Rej：

UW-Seattle, Rice, WUSTL, Pitt, UMich, UVa, UCSD, UFL, TAMU, SUNYSB, UCI(反陶的面试搞砸了，还是不太会读paper)。


其中，Pitt, UFL, UCI, WUSTL都属于病急乱投医，match程度很低的～

我和lz情况一样啊，他们家貌似放了不少AD，唉。。我觉得转offer的有点希望渺茫了，lz 申请的什么方向？
打算咋折腾呢？很迷茫啊。。。

我申的是系统结构，看看被人家，比如加州davis是ad还是offer，或是套套wisc的教授，ad转offer咯——他家一教授说过ad后联系他，就是他给了我小米的文艺邮箱，使我信息完整的，之前他们认为我姓名倒置，成绩单和GT成绩没匹配。

这样子啊。。。他们家那个什么EPCI RA ship你打算申请么？那个咋申请呢？

有牛推的人真幸福……

    牛腿的前提是，自己还行，否则即使认识了，做了项目，也不一定推自己的。
