GWU 发这封信神马意思 求大神们赐教

刚才收到GWU的这封信，如下：

We are writing to let you know that the initial evaluation of your application to our M.S. in Electrical Engineering is now complete. Your application will be sent to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for faculty review and an admissions decision. They should receive it within three business days.
Please note that the Graduate Admissions and Records Coordinator in the department is Ms. Diane Hoover. Ms. Hoover will be your primary point of contact. She can be reached at dghoover@gwu.edu
In an effort to expedite processing of applications, we forward files that contain essential documents needed to for academic review. However, please note that while your application is ready for faculty review, there may be more documentation you need to provide to us, such as official transcripts or test scores, or financial documents for international students. Please log back into Online Application using your original pin and password to check the complete status of all documents.
You can also continue to check the status of your application online; once an admissions decision has been made, it will be posted online.
If you have specific questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

信中说通过了initial evaluation， 之后啥意思？
这是录取的前兆？还是悲剧的前兆？还是啥意思？

    这封邮件不能说明什么吧，我也收到了。邮件的意思只是说材料齐了已经开始审核了，其他的部分我也挺纳闷，没搞明白

就是研院的初审通过了，材料发到系里去了，gwu效率很高的，很快就会有ad了

我问了USC之后也发现这种话：
We have completed our academic evaluation of your application and forwarded it to the department for their review and admission decision.  The Office of Admission provides official notification of admission decisions by mail only.
Because of the varied factors involved in the graduate department review process, we cannot give you an estimate of when you might expect the decision.

和楼主的有点像，不过我觉得一般研院怎么可能拒人啊。应该都是系里拒人吧。

初审通过，AD有望。
