学校不能查sevis 查status change？

恭喜抽到的大家！ 想问下这个 SEVIS Status变化受用于所有人吧？ 就是 ADV 和 NON-ADV 都可以这么查？

可以 但是sevis更新有延迟 我去年律师拿到纸制收据但HR没说, 学校那同时和我说没有变化. 一周后我又问学校 他们才说end什么的.

学校给的回复。。。
Thanks for your email. Due to the volume of students that we work with, we are unable to provide status information. Furthermore, the data that comes from USCIS to SEVIS is not always timely or accurate.  If you have questions about your H-1B visa application, you’d want to check with your H employer about their application on your behalf.

Additionally, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program Response Center is currently experiencing an unexpected high call volume and longer than normal wait times related to inquiries about H-1B petitions.

We have been advised to tell students seeking their H-1B status and who have a receipt number to contact the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) at 1 800-375-5283.  If the student does not have their receipt number, they should contact the employer that filed the original petition.
You can also take a look at the H-1B status page on Study in the States for additional information.

问了学校，回复如下：

.. “It looks like your H-1B application was received by USCIS.  But that is all I can infer from the record.  We don’t get more information than that.”

我接下来问，到底写了什么呢，是不是comment里写了啥。 回复为：

“There’s a comment stating that your F-1 status has been extended.  That will occur when your H-1B application is received by USCIS.”

由于本人的OPT在3月底刚提交，我追问这个extension是不是会是OPT申请造成的（我的OPT申请状态为"received")，回复为：

“No, it was definitely caused by the H-1B application. ”

所以，我这个奇葩状态到底说明啥？请大家指教。。

最大的疑问在于我的已提交但是尚未通过的OPT会不会影响这个，但是学校又说肯定不是。。

OPT有自动的Extension of status吗，如果还未批准的话。。

更新一下：学校说我的身份延期到了9月30号。说“It is conditionally extended to 9/30 as long as the H-1B is approved.  If the H-1B is denied then the extension would end on the day of the denial.”

看起来这像是中了？。。我的OPT还pending, 如果通过的话，会一直到明年7月。

这很明显中了啊！如果没中，连被deny的机会都没有啊。
为啥我们学校都不给查，现在怀疑不给查是不是学校委婉告诉没有中的方式了。
