公派博士联培一年，小秘要的材料看不太懂，还请地里各位前辈指教

CSC公派出国-博士联合培养一年去WUSTL，对方学校小蜜除了要资助证明外，还让我填以下这些材料：
（1）J-1 Student Intern Agreement to the Terms of Participation；
（2）Written statement from prospective intern describing how the internship will assist in fulfilling the intern's educational objectives and academic course of study
第一个材料如下图所示，请问一下，这个材料是指要办DS-7002表吗？这个表不是实习生项目要办的嘛，我是联合培养，不需要实习呀。而且咨询过其他去这个学校联合培养的博士，都不需要这两个材料。有点不太懂，恳请各位大神指教。邀请信上的身份是visiting student，如果按这个办理，会不会影响后面的签证呀？

J-1 Student Intern Agreement to the Terms of Participation
The following will be used by Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) for completion of the Training/Internship Placement Plan (T/IPP) also called the DS-7002.
As a prospective participant in the J-1 Student Internship Program at Washington University, I
.1point3acresattest to the following:
1. I agree to review and follow the T/IPP (DS-7002) associated with this internship;
2. I am entering into this Exchange Visitor (EV) Program in order to participate as a J-1
Student Intern, and not to simply engage in labor or work in the United States;
3. I understand that the intent of the EV Program is to allow me to enhance my skills and
gain exposure to U.S. culture and business a way that will be useful to me when I return
home upon completion of my program;
4. I understand that my internship will take place only at the organization listed on my
T/IPP and that working at another organization while on the EV Program is prohibited;
5. I will contact the OISS at the earlies available opportunity regarding any concerns,
changes in, or deviations from the T/IPP;
6. I will respond in a timely way to all inquiries and monitoring activities;
7. I will follow all of my sponsor’s guidelines required for my participation in the program;
8. I will contact the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational Cultural Affairs (ECA)
at the earliest possible opportunity if I believe that my sponsor or supervisor, is not
providing me with a legitimate internship as delineated on my T/IPP;
9. I am currently enrolled in and pursuing a postsecondary degree at an academic
institution outside of the United States;
10. I am in good academic standing at my current institution;
11. The internship that I am accepting will assist me in fulfilling my educational objectives
and/or requirements for the completion of my academic degree;
12. I agree to return to my home institution at the conclusion of my internship program in
order to fulfill my educational requirements. I have no intention of remaining in the U.S.
at the conclusion of my internship;
13. I agree to make progress toward completion of my internship goals throughout the
duration of the program.
Note about DS-2019 and T/IPP
OISS will complete the Training/Internship Placement Plan (T/IPP) and send a copy to you and your
supervisor for review. Please notify our office if corrections are needed. If all is correct, both of you will
need to sign and upload your signature page to ISD (or email a scanned copy). Once each of you has
provided a copy your signature page, OISS will complete the DS-2019 and send that form along with the
T/IPP to your sponsoring department. The T/IPP will contain the OISS advisor’s original signature. The
department will insert your supervisor’s original signature page and ship both the DS-2019 and T/IPP
forms to you. You will need to sign the DS-2019 and replace the blank signature page with your signed
T/IPP page before your visa interview. You should also scan a copy of both signed forms to OISS. We
recommend you keep a copy of the signed DS-2019 and T/IPP forms for your records.
