There are three graduate research assistantships available in the School of Aerospace and
Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. In these positions, students will receive
full financial support and are expected to carry out research related to thermal/HVAC systems,
smart buildings and their interaction with the power grid. These positions will involve
collaboration with leading HVAC manufacturers, researchers at other institutes and the DOE
national labs.
Students with general engineering background are all welcome to apply. Previous experiences
in thermal system analysis, optimal control & optimization and building energy analysis will be
preferred. Basic programming and math/statistical skills are plus. Expected start date is Jan
