求分析，好像只是没什么用的客套回复

Thank you for your interest in our program. It is difficult to give a straight answer to your question. Basically, I may accept a new student this year, but it depends on many factors. First of all, our PhD program is college wide. We accept 5-7 students to the entire program. Therefore, not only the application process is very competitive, but it is designed to accept a diverse set of students based on areas of interest. I do only make a case to accept a student if the student's area of interest matches mine well and the student has competitive scores (TOEFL, GRE) in addition to a well written, compelling statement of purpose. Once I make the case, we decide collectively as admissions committee for the final offers. If you are interested in my research, I encourage you to apply.

很明显是强committee制度下的phd program。。。模板回复。。。

这封邮件没提到你的特点，给谁都能发。你说是不是模板

这显然不算最差的 还可以了

可以直接申请，过了学校委员会那一关
