Guan Group at The Pennsylvania StateUniversity is recruiting Ph.D. candidates in EE and BME (Fall 2018）

Guan Group in the Department of ElectricalEngineering at the Pennsylvania State University invites the most motivated andtalented Ph.D. candidates to join us in finding innovative healthcaresolutions. Our group is affiliated with the Electrical Engineering Departmentand the Biomedical Engineering Department at PennState. The multidisciplinaryresearch group is focused on micro and nanoscale “lab-on-a-chip (LoC)” devicesand systems. We develop and deploy advanced and innovative methods, devices andsystems to enable the development of next-generation of devices and tools formedical diagnosis and life science research.

We are looking for exceptional Ph.D.candidates with:

1. Passion for innovation and excellence;

2. Excellent training in Engineering/Physics(to develop new technologies), or in Medicine/Biology/Chemistry (to develop newmedical applications);

3. Strong publication record inbioMEMS/bioNEMS/Microfluidics/Analytical Chemistry/Lab-on-Chip areas is highlypreferred.

4. Ability and willingness to collaborate andwork in a team.
