Several postdoc positions in power electronics and powersystems are available in our research group. Our lab is equipped withbest-in-class experimental facilities, including 8-channel high bandwidthoscilloscope, DC and AC programmable power supplies and electronic loads,modularized power converters, AC/DC hybrid microgrid, Dspace, DSP, and FPGAcontrol platforms, etc. We offer competitive salaries and you will have theopportunity to work with a group of dynamic and creative researchers oncutting-edge clean energy research.

Job Description:

We invite applications from outstanding andself-motivated researchers to work on applications of power electronics insmart grids and modern power systems. The candidate should have a strongbackground on power electronic systems modelling, analysis and control as wellas rich experience in designing and testing power electronic laboratoryprototypes. The work will involve theoretical analysis and simulations ofcomplex power electronic systems using Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, SPICE etc.Publication of results in top journals in the area of research will be a majortarget.

Requirements:

•            PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.

•            Expert knowledge in power electronics and its applications in renewable energy,energy storage, transportation electrification and smart grid.

•            Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

•            Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.

•            Able to work independently and in a team to realize proposed research work.

•            Able to publish conference/journal papers and commit at least 1 year of yourtime in the project.

Benefits:

Salary is from SGD 4000 to SGD 5000 and commensurablewith research background and work experience.
